K&L Partners is an art advisory based in London, working internationally in modern, post-war and contemporary art.
We advise on and arrange private sales and acquisitions for collectors, family offices, institutions and estates. The firm is small by design: clients work directly with the people who run it, from the first conversation to completion.
Our principles
Transparency
You will know what we charge, and who pays us, before any work begins. When a price looks wrong to us, we say so early.
Discretion
Works are offered privately, and only once a non-disclosure agreement is signed. We do not name our clients or publish what they buy and sell.
Growth
Most collections are built over decades, and we work to that timescale. Sometimes the best advice is to wait, or not to buy at all.
